Katy Hill

A year ago my good friend Lizzie from The Big Little invited me to a festive gathering of interesting like minded small business owners. It was a real treat for me to take some time out at the end of a busy year.  Amongst the brunch guests I met Katy Hill.  I’ve known Katy from her screen presence. For many years she was a Blue Peter, tv and and radio presenter. She spearheading the movement to inspire young girls to […]

Jon Lee – January 7th 2002

A few months ago during lockdown 2.0 I received a heart warming email from a chap ‘down under’ called Ian. The reminder that we lost Feeder’s original drummer Jon Lee 19 years ago today made me want to share it with you; “Hello Scarlet, My reason for this email is to share some photos you took for a Feeder article in Kerrang! (03 August 2002). The article was one of the first to have Grant and Taka discussing life after […]

Layla Kaylif – press session

A real pleasure working with an all girl team photographing the songwriter and director Layla Kaylif in South London’s Asylum. A beautiful strong and talented woman who brings a mean guacamole on set! I love that! Here are a few photos from our day.

RIP Rick

So sorry to hear the news about Rick Parfitt, I photographed him and Francis Rossi only a few months ago and he and Francis were such a great double act on and off stage. 😢

The Lumineers

Huge congratulations to The Lumineers who reached number 1 in the official UK Charts. Some may say it is down to their second press campaign with me, LOL!! Really looking forward to seeing them live at their sold out show at Brixton on the 24th April.

David Bowie

I had been working with Placebo for a few years and David Bowie was a huge fan of theirs. I got a call from David’s people and he wanted me to come and photograph him rehearsing for some shows at The Hanover Grand in London, a small and intimate venue. He was so relaxed and it was a real honour to meet and work with him obviously. It felt odd taking posed live shots of David Bowie with lights set up […]

Jean-Patrick Capdevielle

Today I headed to Wandsworth to Britannia Row Studios to meet Jean-Patrick Capdevielle An old friend of my mums from Paris who took her first modelling shots in the mid 60’s. It was a real pleasure to chat and snap JP as he laid down the drum and bass tracks for his new crowdfunded album. Can’t wait to hear the finished product!

Robbie Williams

Flying off to Tel Aviv for the first time to meet up with my old chum Robbie, it’s been a few years since we worked on his best selling book ‘Somebody Someday’ and his ‘Live from the Albert’ shows and it is really great to so many of the same faces again and find Robbie on top form. He is a true showman.

The Darkness

Launching their new album ‘Last Of Our Kind’, I headed down to the Gibson studios just off of Oxford Street to do a quick session of The Darkness’s new line up featuring Roger Taylor’s son Rufus. The theme of the launch night was ‘Vikings’ hence the extras!
