The day has come and I am so excited to share this with you. We have decided to do a Kickstarter crowdfunder to help raise the money, through different rewards offered, to publish the Resonators book. It is looking amazing thanks to Warren Jackson who is usually busy working with one of my all time idols Anton Corbijn. The words are mine, kindly re-worked by my dear friend Ben Myers who I have worked with many times over the years. I hate being filmed, photographed […]
Today I headed to Wandsworth to Britannia Row Studios to meet Jean-Patrick Capdevielle An old friend of my mums from Paris who took her first modelling shots in the mid 60’s. It was a real pleasure to chat and snap JP as he laid down the drum and bass tracks for his new crowdfunded album. Can’t wait to hear the finished product!
Flying off to Tel Aviv for the first time to meet up with my old chum Robbie, it’s been a few years since we worked on his best selling book ‘Somebody Someday’ and his ‘Live from the Albert’ shows and it is really great to so many of the same faces again and find Robbie on top form. He is a true showman.
Launching their new album ‘Last Of Our Kind’, I headed down to the Gibson studios just off of Oxford Street to do a quick session of The Darkness’s new line up featuring Roger Taylor’s son Rufus. The theme of the launch night was ‘Vikings’ hence the extras!
Headlining the O2 tonight was Jack Savoretti, awesome show and great bunch of chaps
Today I travelled a short distance to The Doghouse Studios in Shiplake near Henley to photograph The Palma Violets and their producer John Leckie. They were on fine form drinking tins of beer at 11am and listening to playbacks of their hotly anticipated new album. I set up my lights and got some great live shots as well as a few set ups in the grounds of the studio.
On a busy road in Shepherds Bush you will find the Acton Vale Working Man’s Club and that is the location for today’s video shoot for Jack Savoretti’s The Other Side of Love track from his new album. His good friend Rafe Spall is the main character in the video, finding himself in different situations with all sorts of interesting characters.
Great Prog Magazine cover using my photos of Steven Wilson. Out on the shelves now!!
Over the weekend I actually read the papers for the first time in months and I spotted my photo on an ad for Spandau Ballet’s upcoming UK tour in March, be sure not to miss it!
